Can you introduce yourself and describe what makes your business stand out in the industry?
My name is Monica DeAngelis. I'm the founder and owner of Bare Laser Medspa. And what makes us stand out in the industry is the fact that we use ultra-performance lasers for natural beauty. Mangomint has contributed immensely to the success and uniqueness of our business because it is the most reliable platform I have ever tried, and I tested quite a few. A lot of these other platforms had glitches and errors. It was a nightmare to deal with, and Mangomint was a game changer in that sense for us. Thank God we found you guys in the very beginning of the operation. So I love all the features. I love the consent forms that are built into it. And everything is digital, so it's super easy. People can book their own appointments online. The interface on the app is exactly the same as the desktop, which is amazing. So I love it.
What specific features of Mangomint do you find most beneficial for saving time and increasing profit?
The features I find most beneficial to increasing profit and saving time are online booking, definitely payroll because I used to pay a fortune for that and now it's much less. And memberships. Memberships create recurring revenue which is the dream for any business and especially our business that's very unstable. One month you have great revenue, the next month not so much so with memberships that stabilizes a lot.
Can you walk us through a typical day at Bare Laser Medspa and show us how Mangomint integrates into your operations?
For our everyday operations, Mangomint is the most essential tool. That's where we go for everything. We check the schedule there, we manage employees there, so clock in, clock out. We manage all the memberships, all the appointments, payments, I mean, gift cards, everything is done there. So in the beginning of the day, we check the schedule, make sure everyone's confirmed. Mangomint actually does that for you. And we know exactly how much time each appointment's going to take, 'cause you’re able to insert buffer times in there, which is very helpful. And just overall, it's the lifeline of the operation.
How has the customer support experience been for you?
Getting started with Mangomint was bliss, especially because I had come from a very bad experience with another software and I couldn't believe how fast everything was. I remember with my previous software it took me about three weeks to be able to get my credit card processing system and with Mangomint they literally overnighted it to me and I was in awe. Customer service is flawless. I cannot praise it enough. Everyone is kind, friendly, and qualified. People always have an answer for whatever questions you have. It is simply perfect. Well, now you know I'm a Mangomint groupie.
From your experience, what are the top advantages that Mangomint offers that other spa software solutions might not?
In my opinion, the main advantages that Mangomint offers, and keep in mind, it's not just about what you offer, but how you offer it. Mangomint offers it with quality. And that is such a big difference because a lot of platforms offer so many features, but it doesn't work. And that's the question that everyone should really ask themselves, does it work? Because there is a big competitor that offers everything, and then when you test their interface, it is scary how glitchy it is. It's just not reliable. But Mangomint works.
So my favorite tools are memberships for sure, payroll, two-way texting, online booking, and the marketing suite which is a new feature and it's amazing because it helps us integrate everything and keeps everything under the same umbrella. We can manage everything, even manage employees through it. And I love the fact that you can select how much or how little power you want to give to each employee within the software.

The advice I would give to any med spa considering implementing Mangomint in their business is just do it. You will not regret it. And do yourself a favor, test other platforms, look at their policies. Mangomint has no contracts, so you're free to go whenever you want to. Most software platforms require a 12 month commitment and it will not let you out of it. I know that from experience. Mangomint does not. And that in itself speaks volumes because they know their product is so good they don't care about trapping you in a contract. They don't need to do it.
So it's a company that has integrity and amazing customer service. I cannot praise it enough because I've had, again, a bad experience in the past with customer service. And it's just flawless.

The results I've seen while using Mangomint is it just makes life easier, you know, and everything is centered into one platform. So that is amazing, especially nowadays, because everything is separate. Integrating these things is often difficult, and with Mangomint everything is under one umbrella.

They want to just go online and do it themselves. It saves me a lot too because I can do everything from my phone, so I don't necessarily have to be here, so it saves me time as well, which is money at the end of the day. It is just amazing.
