We're excited to announce a new feature that makes booking appointments over the phone easier and faster than ever before. Spend a lot less time on back and forth with clients and avoid mistakes.
Getting emails and credit card numbers over the phone sucks. It's time consuming and people make typos all the time. However, if you don't, you risk losing out on cancellation fees and won't have email addresses for reminders and marketing.
Online booking would solve this problem, however many clients still prefer to book their appointments over the phone, and sometimes it's really the only way you can correctly schedule more complicated services.
Our brand-new Express Booking™ feature solves all of these challenges in a unique and innovative way that combines the convenience and speed of online-booking with the power and flexibility of phone booking.
See how it works:
When creating an appointment in Mangomint, you now have the option to text a link to the client where they can review & complete their details
This allows you to only get their first name and phone number, and then have the client enter their remaining info (last name + email) as well as credit card details
It will also show your cancellation policy and ask them to accept it in order to continue
If the client does not complete the booking within the time limit you allotted, the booking will automatically expire
In addition to that, Express Booking™ has a lot of advanced settings that make it possible to collect deposits or full payments, upload photos, and more.

FAQ
What happens if the clients don't complete the booking?
You will be able to see how much time the client has left to complete the booking. If they miss the time limit, it will automatically send them a message that their appointment has been removed. You can still find the appointment on the calendar and bring it back if needed.
We are legally required to collect proof-of-vaccination. Can this help?
Yes, you have the option to enable an advanced setting that gives clients a way to upload proof of vaccination prior to their appointment.
Will this help with fighting chargebacks?
As part of completing the booking, we store information such as the IP address, device model, and the exact cancellation policy that was accepted at the time. This record can later be supplied as evidence for any chargebacks.
Is there any additional cost to using this feature?
No, all customers on Standard and Unlimited plans as well as older plans (before 2021) get access to this feature immediately. An active Mangomint Pay account is required in order to enable it.
