Flow Message Pricing

You will need marketing credits to send emails and text messages via a flow.

The number of marketing credits required for each message will be displayed below the message. This number of marketing credits is required each time the message is sent.

If you are running low on marketing credits and you have active flows that require credits, you will receive an email notification if you’re the billing user for your account.

If you run out of marketing credits and you have an active flow that requires credits, emails and texts in that flow will stop being sent.

Flow emails

Flow emails always require 5 marketing credits each. This number of marketing credits is not affected by the email content.

Flow text messages

Flow text messages require marketing credits based on the number of message segments included in the text message.

The more message segments your text message includes, the more marketing credits will be required.

The first message segment requires 10 marketing credits. Additional message segments require 5 marketing credits each.

What is a message segment?

Message segments are used by phone carriers to determine how much to charge for sending a text message.

Merge tags

You can add merge tags to flow messages, such as the client’s first name or the appointment service name.

For text messages, each merge tag counts as 15 characters. When a text with a merge tag is sent, the number of required marketing credits will not change.
